La Belle Amie Vineyard, an operating vineyard on the grounds of a former tobacco plantation, is open to the public Monday through Saturday. Vineyard guests are invited into the wine tasting room to sample private label wines and a variety of gourmet foods. Families, buses and tour groups are welcome, and picnic areas are provided for customers. In addition, La Belle Amie hosts many popular festivals throughout the year, complete with food, wine and music. A gift shop features a wide array of wine accessories and unique gifts.
