This Jack Nicklaus signature course includes wide green fairways leading to subtle greens guarded by natural hazards such as the Pawleys Island salt marsh and the barrier island beyond. A few of the course highlights include par 3 hole #3 requiring a forced carry over water from tee to green; the par 5 #14 negotiating the marsh off the tee shot to a split fairway just before the green andthe par 4 18th that permits only a well-placed drive down a narrow fairway bordered by marsh, sprawling oaks and pines.
