In the tradition of A.W. Tillinghast's Winged Foot Golf Club in Mamaroneck, NY, Shaftesbury Glen Golf & Fish Club brings together world-class golf and fishing along the Waccamaw River. This 18-hole course is created to mimic the look and feel of the English countrysde in Shafetesbury, England -- the project's namesake. Every hole is open off the tee, and the expansive, tree-lined fairways are generally flat. The large, raised greens are heavily bunkered and very fast. Water comes into play on 12 holes.
